Your Questions, Answered

  • Relaxed. Intentional. Human.

I’ll guide you when needed and give you space when it matters. There’s no pressure to perform and no checklist of poses to power through. Story first. And your story is the most important. So I make sure we tell it the right way.

We move at a natural pace, adjust as we go, and focus on what feels right in the moment. Most people leave saying the same thing:

“That was way easier than I expected.”

And that’s exactly how it should feel.

  • Who cares!? Most people feel that way. And it’s exactly who I work best with.
You don’t need to know how to pose or “perform.” My soul purpose is to create an environment where you can relax and forget about the camera. We will move naturally, talk, take breaks, and let things unfold without pressure. Also, I tell a lot of terrible stories and bad jokes, so you have that to look forward to!

  • Absolutely!!! Many of my clients haven’t worked with a professional photographer before. I’ll guide you through the entire process, from planning to final images.

  • Traditional sessions often focus on quick poses and surface-level results.
My sessions focus on quality time, comfort, and storytelling. I don’t fly through my sessions. I slow things down, adapt to how you’re feeling, and prioritize real moments over rigid structure.

  • Abso-f*ckinlutely not. I keep retouching minimal and natural.
I’ll clean things up, but I don’t erase personality, texture, or character. The goal is for the images to still feel like you — just thoughtfully finished. There will be a distinct difference from what I create with you vs what you would get with AI slop.

  • Because you’re not just paying for pictures.
You’re paying for time, attention, creative direction, and an experience that doesn’t rush or pressure you. I intentionally limit how much I take on so every session gets the care it deserves.

  • Wear something that feels like you.
During planning, I’ll help guide outfit choices based on location, tone, and how you want the images to feel. Comfort and confidence always comes first.

    Hard and fast rules:

    • DO NOT get your haircut the day before or the right before our session. STRAIGHT TO JAIL.

    • Minimal print, or at least large print. Small print design is bad. STRAIGHT TO JAIL.

    • Neutral tones always work, but I don’t want you to blend into the background. You’re important, and worthy of being seen.
